This wonderful hike takes us up from Lake Arni, past the Sunniggrat hut and the Leutsasch hut, where we can enjoy a wonderful panoramic views from the Sunniggrat summit. The connecting path from the Sunniggrat to the Leutsaschhütte is somewhat exposed and requires surefootedness. At the Leutsaschhütte we can marvel at 2 beautiful mountain lakes, one of which is a kitschy turquoise blue.

sunrise tour “schweizer wandernacht”
We meet at 4am at the railway station in Andermatt. We hike towards the golf course by the light of our headlamps. Here it starts to climb. Once we reach the top in Rossmettlen, we will soon have the sun on our faces if the weather is fine. We continue along the tarmac Bäzstrasse for about ¾ of the way until we reach Bäz. This was once an important base for the Swiss army. We enjoy the views of Andermatt from the historic buildings. We continue along the Columban Russi Trail back to Andermatt, where we finish this exciting tour around lunchtime.

Maderanertal with honey tasting

We reach the Furka Pass by postbus and are in a high alpine environment in no time at all. To reach this in such a short time, you would have to drive for days in other countries. On this beautiful hike, you have the opportunity to feel the high mountains as a mountaineers. The Sidelen and Albertheim huts are located at a considerable altitude of 2500 – 2700 metres above sea level. The scenery with views of the Sidelen and Tiefen glaciers and the compact granite peaks are simply breathtaking.

Nepali Highway (part of the Alpenkranz stage 24)
This beautiful hike, thanks to the post bus ride to the Furka Pass, gives mountain hikers opportunity to experience the high mountain feeling. The route from the Sidelenhütte to the Albertheimhütte is an alpine hiking trai (white-blue-white, T4)l. The two huts are situated at a considerable altitude of 2500 – 2700 meters above sea level. The landscape with views of the Sidelen and Tiefen glaciers and the compact granite peaks are simply breathtaking.
After a break at the Albertheimhütte we continue via Lochbergegg and then down to Realp.

bergfrau tour
On this beautiful and challenging loop, we hike a section right on the border between Uri and Nidwalden. On the Chaiserstuel, which has a beautifully flat summit, we enjoy fantastic views. Alpine hiking trail T4 only applies to the section from the Schonegg Pass to the Chaiserstuel. The particular difficulties on this short section are the steepness and the risk of slipping in wet conditions. Good surefootedness and familiarity with exposed passages are required. The other half of our hike is more relaxed and takes us past seven alpine farms where alpine cheese and other delicious alpine products are made.

schartihöreli + traditional craft market
Wonderful, sporty autumn circular hike from the pretty mountain village of Isenthal. We hike over the mostly wide ridge above the Mittagsflue to the Schartihöreli summit and then continue over the Wanggrat ridge down via Chlital back to Isenthal. On the ascent, we enjoy the magnificent views over Lake Uri and the Reuss valley and, after the summit, above all over the Chlital with the imposing Uri-Rotstock, Schlieren and Gitschen as a mountain backdrop.
The next day there is a traditional craft market in Isenthal! Perhaps you would like to stay overnight in Isenthal and also experience the market in beautiful Isenthal!

This varied hike takes us through diverse mountain landscapes, some steeper sections and across gentle mountain meadows. We got to enjoy the views over Lake of Uri, which is embedded in the imposing mountain landscape like fjords. The views along the way are magnificent and Grosstal and Chlital of Isenthal provide a breathtaking backdrop.

On the first day, we explore the unique and wildly romantic Maderanertal valley on a guided hike. The day’s destination is a more than 250-year-old “Bergheimet” at 1150 above the sea level, on the southern slope of the Kleine Windgällen Mountain. You will be a guest on an alpine goat “Alp” with fantastic views.
In the evening, a mountain wellness experience with Finnish sauna awaits you.
For dinner we enjoy fine raclette, if possible under the starry sky.
The second day is reserved for relaxation and being & enjoying. The fine breakfast, with local products, is served with our own mountain honey. Afterwards you have time to enjoy and (depending on the season) get to know our goats before we start the descent back to civilisation.
This offer is only suitable for sure-footed mountain hikers (T3).
Two double bedrooms are available for guests. A good night’s sleep is pretty much guaranteed. If you like taking pictures, be sure to bring your camera! The starry sky here can be excellent!
