Goats are curious, charming companions and love joining us on hikes. Being out and about with them is a special experience for animal lovers and anyone who enjoys walking in nature. The pace is more relaxed than usual, as the goats like to take their time along the way to nibble on tasty herbs, leaves, or branches. Spending time outdoors with animals simply brings a smile to everyone’s face.
Our hike takes us into the upper Isenthal Grosstal valley. Surrounded by an impressive mountain landscape, we enjoy nature and the awakening of spring together with the goats. The route will be adapted to the current weather and snow conditions.

This varied hike takes us through diverse mountain landscapes, some steeper sections and across gentle mountain meadows. We got to enjoy the views over Lake of Uri, which is embedded in the imposing mountain landscape like fjords. The views along the way are magnificent and Grosstal and Chlital of Isenthal provide a breathtaking backdrop.
We also get to enjoy a ride with a little “openair lift. If you are afraid of heights, we can also walk down this part.

On the first day, we explore the unique and wildly romantic Maderanertal valley on a guided hike. The day’s destination is a more than 250-year-old “Bergheimet” at 1150 above the sea level, on the southern slope of the Kleine Windgällen Mountain. You will be a guest on an alpine goat “Alp” with fantastic views.
In the evening, a mountain wellness experience with Finnish sauna awaits you.
For dinner we enjoy fine raclette, if possible under the starry sky.
The second day is reserved for relaxation and being & enjoying. The fine breakfast, with local products, is served with our own mountain honey. Afterwards you have time to enjoy and (depending on the season) get to know our goats before we start the descent back to civilisation.
This offer is only suitable for sure-footed mountain hikers (T3).
Two double bedrooms are available for guests. A good night’s sleep is pretty much guaranteed. If you like taking pictures, be sure to bring your camera! The starry sky here can be excellent!
Included in the price:
1 day guided hike in the beautiful Maderanertal, overnight stay and hospitality on private goat “Alp”, mountain wellness/ sauna, towels & bed linen, welcome aperitif, raclette dinner under the starry sky, a glass of matching white wine and tea to go with it, fine dessert with a hut coffee, breakfast with local products.
