Special Terms & Conditions for the Hike & Yoga Retreat
By purchasing a Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch retreat — you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Participant Release
You confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by all of the following points, which serve as a binding contract between you and Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch, and that you are eligible to participate in Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch Retreat under the conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to be bound by this Participant Release, we regret that we cannot accept your enrollment.
- Your Age. You must be 18 years old or older, and fully empowered under the laws of your country and your state of residence to enter into binding a contract, in order to participate in Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch Retreat.
- Your Health and Physical Condition. Every form of exercise carries some degree of risk of injury. Some yoga exercises and postures, for example, are not appropriate for every person. You are responsible for making sure that your health and physical condition permit you to engage in Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch Retreat by consulting with an appropriate health-care profession before enrolling and participating in any such programs. Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch will rely on the fact that, by participating, you have sought such expert advice.
- Safety for the mountain hikes. Tours usually take place in all weather conditions but will be adjusted if conditions in the area are too bad. The Mountain Leader is entitled to make changes to the program for safety reasons (e.g. avalanche danger) as well as in case of unforeseen events. The tours will be adjusted accordingly, without consultation with the guests.
Terms and conditions of participation for the mountain hikes. Good health and appropriate equipment are required, which can be seen from the packing list. If the conditional and technical requirements are not fulfilled according to the announcement, the mountain leader can exclude the participant from the event. In the event of exclusion for the above reasons, no refund will be made.
The mountain leader must be informed before the tour if allergies or other relevant, health impairments are present.
Responsibilities of the participants:
- to follow the instructions of the Mountain Leader
- to mutual consideration and recognition, comradeship, and helpfulness
- to an environmentally conscious behavior
Liability, insurance
As a qualified mountain Leader I offer the greatest possible safety during the tour. However, when hiking and snowshoeing, a residual risk cannot be excluded. With the registration you expressly acknowledge these dangers and waive this residual risk for damages or liability claims to Honigberg. The liability of the Mountain Leader is excluded for slight negligence, fault of the participants, third party fault or force majeure. With the registration, the participants waive any claims for damages or liability to the Mountain Leader of Honigberg.
Participation is at your own risk. Sufficient accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
- Waiver of Claims. Accidents can happen in any form of exercise. Except for claims of personal injury to you based on intentional wrongful acts of Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch, you are assuming the risk of injury, damage and/or loss of any kind to you, your guests (including children), and your (and their) property resulting from or related to your participation in Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch Retreat you are waiving, releasing and discharging any and all such claims. The waiver of liability under this Participant Release applies to Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch and its members, officers, employees, contractors, vendors, agents and representatives (collectively, “Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch”), and extends to all claims, debts, liabilities, costs, expenses, and causes of action relating in any way to your participation in Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch Retreat.
- Indemnity. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold the Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch Parties against any and all of the claims that are waived in Section 3 above, and any other loss or liability resulting from your wrongful acts and/or those of your guests at any Dirt & Diamonds / Honigberg.ch Retreat.
- Arbitration.You agree that any disputes arising under this Participant Release will be submitted to confidential binding arbitration in Switzerland, before a single arbitrator pursuant to the then-applicable rules of the Swiss district court.
- Payment Refund Policy. Payments are non-transferable and non-refundable after the specified date for the Retreat unless otherwise specified.
- Dirt & Diamonds Oy. Dirt & Diamonds is a business used to identify products and services offered, related to the study and practice of yoga, mental training and mountain biking. None of these products or services involve the practice of medicine or take the place of medical consultation. We urge you to consult a physician or other health care professional of your choice before undertaking any form of exercise, including yoga and mountain biking to make sure that it is safe and appropriate for you.
- Honigberg.ch (Sanna Laurén Honigberg Wanderleiterin). Sanna Laurén is the founder of Honigberg.ch and an accredited Mountain Leader with Swiss Federal Diploma, with UIMLA certification. Honigberg.ch organizes guided hikes and other events and activities. The Mountain Leader is available during the tour for the overall management of the group, and only in exceptional cases for the personal care of individual guests. The mountain leader decides in the interest of the group and safety. The instructions given are to be followed.
End of Participant Release
Retreat cancellation policy
Our cancellation conditions are tied to the hotel’s terms and conditions. Therefore, cancellations may be subject to a loss of 50%-100% of payments made. You are responsible for insurance that covers you in case you aren’t able to attend for any reason.
- Cancellations with three months or more before the event lose 50% of payments made.
- Cancellations within three months of the event lose 100% of payments made.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
The contractual agreement is subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Altdorf.
