Mountain leader prices for tailored tours and events

The rates are based on the recommendations of the Swiss Hiking Guide Association

https://www.asam-swl.ch/de/Wanderungen/Tarife/. All expenses are charged to the guest and will be added separately.

Services

Included in the price are the mountain leader costs and half board according to the announcement in the program. Not included are snacks, drinks, transport costs, rental material, other expenses and insurances.

Program Modification/ Safety

Tours usually take place in all weather conditions but will be adjusted if conditions in the area are too bad. The hiking guide is entitled to make changes to the program for safety reasons (e.g. avalanche danger) as well as in case of unforeseen events.

The tours will be adjusted accordingly, without consultation with the guests. An alternative with similar difficulties and conditions may be arranged. Any additional or reduced costs will be charged or refunded to the participant.

Terms and conditions of participation

For all tours, good health and appropriate equipment is required, which can be seen from the packing list. If the conditional and technical requirements are not fulfilled according to the announcement, the mountain leader can exclude the participant from the event. In the event of exclusion for the above reasons, no refund will be made.

The mountain leader must be informed before the tour if allergies or other relevant, health impairments are present.

Responsibilities

Participants commit to:

  • to follow the instructions of the Mountain Leader
  • to mutual consideration and recognition, comradeship, and helpfulness
  • to an environmentally conscious behavior

The Mountain Leader is available during the tour for the overall management of the group, and only in exceptional cases for the personal care of individual guests. The mountain leader decides in the interest of the group and safety. The instructions given are to be followed.

Withdrawal by participants

The withdrawal from a tour or event must be reported in writing by the participant. The deadline is the date of receipt of the written notification. If this takes place on the weekend or on a holiday, the next working day is decisive. The following refunds apply:

Up to 15 days: processing fee of CHF 30.00

14 – 8 days: 50% of the price

7 – 3 days: 70% of the price

2 – 0 days: 100% of the price

Instead of a cancellation, a substitute person can take part to the tour under the existing contract conditions. In case of abort during the tour or event, by the participant, there is no right for a refund.

Withdrawal by Honigberg

If the tour is cancelled due to too few participants, the full amount paid will be refunded. The tour can also take place with fewer participants, provided that the participants are willing to accept a higher price.

If the hike is cancelled due to poor conditions and lack of suitable alternative, the full amount paid will be refunded. The advance payments, which Honigberg has already nonrefundable paid for a third party, will not be refunded.

Image rights

On the tours, photos and, if necessary, films will be taken of the mountain leader and the participants. The participants agree to the use of the photographic material by Honigberg.

Personal Data Protection

The organizer uses customer data for the processing of registrations and for sending its own newsletter. The data will not be passed on.
